Bob Marshall Memorial Little Rocks Dedication
The Dedication Ceremony of the regulation little rock curling stones purchased with money raised by the Bob Marshall Memorial Fund was held on Saturday, 11 December 2010.
A plaque was mounted over the purpose-built rack holding the stones and then members of the Little Rock League curled a ceremonial first time with the rocks in the names of Bob's wife Joan and their children. Daughter Barb swept these stones into the life of the club.
Dave Acker and Bob Clattenburg, who originated and managed the Memorial Fund, display the plaque with Bob Marshall's photo, which was then hung over the rack containing the little rocks.
